Campus Visits

Students and parents are invited to visit the campus, attend classes, and speak with Christendom faculty and staff. Complimentary meals and lodging are provided for prospective students as guests of the College. Students will stay in one of the dorms with a student ambassador. Campus visits normally last three days and two nights. (Normally students arrive on Thursday night/Friday morning and leave Sunday afternoon or Monday morning.)

Students who are traveling to Christendom by car should bring sleeping bag or sheets and blankets, towels, pillow, etc. Those who are traveling by plane, towels, sheets, blankets, and pillows will be provided. Overnight visitors may be required to sleep on an air mattress on the floor of their host's bedroom, or sometimes, the host lets the visitor sleep in his/her bed. The student ambassadors may have obligations including classes, studying, meetings, events, or even workstudy obligations, and therefore, visiting students may need to spend on their own. Visitors are asked to have a flexible attitude!

PLEASE NOTE: The College requests a minimum of a two-week advance notice for any overnight visits. Further, the College requires that you read, complete, and sign its Overnight Visit Policy Form. You will not be allowed to stay overnight without this form.

To make a one-day visit, without overnight stay, please contact the College at least two days beforehand.

Parents and family members are welcome to dine in the College cafeteria during their visit for a nominal fee. Lodging is available in Front Royal.

Please call the Admissions Office at (800) 877-5456, or email us at admissions@christendom.edu to set up a visit. The Admissions Office is open on weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Students may make day visits to the College anytime throughout the year (with two days notice), and may request to stay overnight on a weekday pretty much whenever it is convenient (with a two week advance notice).

Weekend visits are limited to 4 different weekends throughout the semester. Space is limited to 20 visitors per weekend and spaces are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
