Facilities
Crusader Memorial Gym
The gymnasium is nestled in the woods behind the women's dorms and overlooks the Shenandoah River and is home to Thomas S. Vander Woude Memorial Court. The 20,000 square-foot structure features:
- Full size collegiate basketball including side practice baskets
- Regulation volleyball court with 2 practice courts
- Two racquetball/handball courts also used for wallyball
- Fully functional weight room equipped with free weights, machines and bench stations redesigned for 2012
- Fitness and cardio room with treadmills and ellipticals
- Exercies area including medicine balls and floor mats
- Student tv lounge with snack machines
- 2 locker rooms with bathrooms and showers
- Athletic Department Offices and supply rooms
Future expansion plans include an indoor pool and tennis courts alongside the current structure.
