Refund Policy

Tuition will be refunded to students who find it necessary to withdraw  (or to change to audit status) after registration according to the following schedule.  The effective date of withdrawal is the date upon which written notice is received in the business office.  Students who withdraw from a course (or drop to audit status) and who have not yet paid the tuition will be liable for the tuition amount minus any applicable refund amount.

Before the second class                                100%

Before the third class                                   75%

Before the fourth class                                 50%

After the fourth class                                   No Refund

In accordance with Veterans Administration Regulation CFR 21.4255, in the event of a student’s withdrawal, the amount of the registration fee in excess of $10 will be subject to proration. The unused portion will be promptly refunded to the veteran or other eligible person. Contact the Administrative Director’s Office for details.

Late Payments

Tuition is due before the start of the semester.  If a student is unable to pay the entire tuition and fees at the time of registration, an agreement must be initiated by the student with the business office stipulating the manner in which the debt is to be paid, such as a proportional sum each month, whereby the full amount will be paid by the end of the semester.  In the   event of the student's withdrawal before paying all installments, it is the student’s responsibility to pay the balance due, minus any applicable refund (see above). No grades or transcripts will be released, nor degrees awarded, until all tuition and fees are paid.  Students with outstanding balances will not be allowed to register for the next semester.  Registration fees are due with registration.
