The Christendom College Players will present Lady Windermere’s Fan on November 9-11 at the Warren County High School auditorium in Front Royal, Virginia. Written by the great Irish author, Oscar Wilde, Lady Windermere’s Fan combines a witty comedy with an ingenious plot.

Christendom English professor Dr. Patrick Keats will direct the play, which will be his thirty-third show at Christendom, and Theresa McGuirk will join Keats as co-directior. The talented student cast includes senior Sarah Halbur, freshman Monica Dilworth, sophomore Nick Gossin, sophomore Alex Clark, sophomore Rocina Daez, junior James Ciskanik, and many others.

Wilde’s first produced play, Lady Windermere’s Fan was an instant success when it appeared on stage in 1892. The story features Wilde’s trademark wit and intelligence as it chronicles a series of misunderstandings and deceptions in the high society of Victorian England.

Showtimes will be Friday, November 9, at 8 p.m., Saturday, November 10, at 8 p.m., and Sunday, November 11, at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. Ticket prices are $8 for adults, $5 for students, and $3 for children 12 and under.

For more information, or to reserve tickets at the door, call Christendom College at 540.636.2900, ext. 1390 or 1327. The auditorium is located at 155 Westminster Drive, Front Royal, VA 22630.
